K-Mart

So, today Sarah and I decided to do some couponing at K-Mart. We have never gone couponing there before and I had read online that they were participating in the double coupon event. So, I called to double check that they were in fact doubling before going, and they in fact were. Well, we did really well.

Here is a picture of my goods.

PICT0504

I got 4 boxes of Tampax, 7 deodorants, 4 hair gels, 6 All laundry detergent, 3 gillette body washes, 6 packs of gum, 4 packs of gillette razors (which have some great coupons in the packs!)

I spent: $8.92 all together, and will get $20 back in rebates!

There are little tear pads on the shelves in the store. They are for “Spend $25 on P&G items, get back $10 visa gift card”. I bought enough P&G items for 2 rebates and will send one to my house, and one to my mother’s house.

Here is my transactions for P&G rebates:

3 Gillette body wash = $12

2 Tampax pearl compact = $9.18

1 Tampax Pearl multipack = $7.59

Coupons:

3- $2 body wash coupons doubled = $12

2- $2 tampax pearl coupons doubles = $8

buy one tampax get one free = $7.59

Now tampax bogo coupon should have taken off only $4.59, which I did tell the cashier, but my cashier insisted on taking off the higher priced one.

Total: $1.54 (total with smaller tampax taken off would be around $5.50

Submit for $10 rebate = money maker!

Transaction 2:

4 gillete disposable razors = $24

1 tampax pearl compact = $4.59

Coupons used:

2- $2 gillette razors doubled = $8

2- buy one get one free gillette razors = $12

$2 tampax pearl doubled = $4

Total paid: $5.97

Submit for $10 p&g rebate equals $3.03 money maker!

Your $25 purchase is always counted before coupons for all proctor and gamble rebates.

Good Luck! Sorry this post was so late in the week, but we didn’t want to post anything on that store until we had actually shopped there, since we weren’t sure how things would go. We went to the one on Macarthur road, and they were fully stocked. Also, in order to double coupons you must sign up for their rewards card. Don’t worry, it’s not a credit card, only a bonus card type thing. Coupons up to $2 will be doubled.
